ECRN web application allows to exchange at the international level legal compliant Civil Registry documents accordingly to Vienna international Convention and accordingly to the data protection legislations.

This replies to the cases in which an European Citizen living abroad that may need to obtain a Civil Registry document. The possible requests of documents are (see below some examples):

• Birth of a child;

• Preliminary requirements to marriage;

• Marriage celebrations;

• Marriage contract drew up by the notary;

• Death of a relative;

• Parentage recognition;

• Change of nationality
